Pre-employment Requirement

As the professional and valued staff of StreSERT Services, your services are deployed to the client organizations carrying out tasks/duties as required of your roles/responsibilities at your company of deployment.

In light of this, you are required at all times to project a good image of our organization, striving to add value to the business of the organization of deployment.

At the point of employment, you would be required to complete and provide such documents as;

• Bio-data Form
• Pension Form
• Tax (PAYE) form
• Guarantor Forms
• Bank Account Opening Form
• Passport( 4)
• Indemnity Form
• Acknowledged copy of employment letter
• Confidentiality Form
• HMO Form
• Data Protection Agreement
• StreSERT Organizational Policies

Salary Issues

Your salary will be paid as stated in your letter of employment. Deductions from your salary would be made monthly such as;

• Pension: 10% is deducted from your salary and remitted into a pension account opened by you, in addition to 8% contributed by your employer, forming both employee and employer pension contributions. The balance in this account is accessible to you when you attain the age of 50 years and retired. Before this, you can have access to the funds if involved in an accident and a         medical report is issued to the effect that you can no longer work.
• Tax: Deductions from your earnings are statutory, with Tax Clearance Certificate (for which your BVN is required) will be processed and issued accordingly.
• HMO (Medical Insurance): In line with Health Insurance Scheme, this sum is payable annually to a designated Health Management Organisation (HMO). This allows you access to quick and quality medical services at the hospital in your location.
• Paid Annual leave: 10% of your basic allowance will be set aside as leave allowance, and payable when proceeding on leave.
• Other Benefits & Deduction (where applicable): As stated in your letter of employment.

Other Information

• Payslip: This is issued every month, detailing the breakdown of your salary, deductions, and bonuses where necessary.
• Confirmation: You will be placed on six months probation after which you will be confirmed following necessary background checks and satisfactory performance during the probationary period.
• Performance Evaluation: Performance evaluation will be conducted annually. The appraisal forms will be given to your supervisor to evaluate performance for the period in question.
• On–Site Visits: A ‘check-in’ is conducted regularly to ensure you abide by all laid down rules. It also allows you to discuss issues affecting your work productivity at your location of deployment.

CODE OF CONDUCT

• Dress Code: You must be appropriately dressed at all times and in compliance with the dress code policy of the organization/location of deployment.
• ID Cards: Your ID Card must be worn at all times.
• Absenteeism: Absence from work will not be tolerated without good reason. Absence from work must be communicated within 24 hours to StreSERT Services and your supervisor at your location of deployment.
• Communication: Issues affecting your work must be communicated to your supervisor or our office immediately for timely resolution.
• Sanctions/Rewards: You are required to conduct yourself in a proper manner failing which appropriate sanctions (refer to    StreSERT Consequence Management Framework) will be meted on you. These sanctions include but are not limited to termination, suspension, deduction in pay, etc. Staff with outstanding performance would be duly rewarded following appraisal/evaluation.
• Annual Leave: From your second year of employment, you will be entitled to Leave as stated in your letter of employment. Notice of leave MUST be communicated to StreSERT Services Limited at least 3 weeks before commencement, failing which it will be rescheduled.
• Sick leave: If absent from work on account of illness, you will be required to notify StreSERT Services and your Supervisor at your location of deployment on the first day of absence. You will also be required to provide an appropriate certificate of illness after two days of absence.
• Meetings: Attendance is compulsory for meetings scheduled by StreSERT Services Limited. Absence or lateness will be appropriately sanctioned.
• Training: Attendance of training is compulsory for you to enhance your productivity and performance. Certificate of Attendance will be issued for every training attended.

The following are forbidden and may lead to     suspension from work or outright termination:

• Willful violation of policy, rule, or regulation of StreSERT or your company of secondment.
• Gross Insubordination or blatant disrespect/disregard for constituted authority.
• Immoral conduct or indecency whilst on duty at the client’s premises.
• Absence from work without the required permission or reasonable cause.
• Fighting
• Gross negligence in the performance of job functions.
• Smoking and Drinking on company’s premises.
• Bridging StreSERT and/or our Client’s Confidentiality and Data Protection Policy.
• Other misconducts highlighted in StreSERT Consequence Management Framework. You are required to be a good ambassador of  StreSERT Services Limited in any location you may be deployed, ensuring the delivery of quality service and value to our clients.
